Redeemed by Grace
Scripture Text: Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Introduction
Today, we reflect on the boundless grace of God. Grace is not something we earn; it's something we receive. Through Jesus Christ, we are redeemed, restored, and made whole again.
1. Understanding Grace
Grace is the unmerited favor of God. It means we receive forgiveness and new life not because of what we’ve done, but because of what Jesus has done for us. God extends His grace to all who believe.
2. The Power of Redemption
Redemption through Christ is a complete transformation. No matter our past, when we come to Him, we are made new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
3. Living in the Freedom of Grace
As believers, we are called not to live in condemnation but in freedom. Grace empowers us to live holy lives—not out of fear, but out of love and gratitude for the mercy we have received.
Conclusion
Let us never forget that we are saved by grace. Let us walk each day in the light of God’s love, sharing the Good News of redemption with others. Today, may your heart be renewed and your spirit lifted by the truth of His Word.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your amazing grace. Thank You for redeeming us through Jesus. Help us live in the freedom of Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
