Short Sermon: 2026 — My Year of Fulfillment

Some years begin with excitement.

Others begin with questions.

2026 starts, many people are asking quietly, “Will this finally be my year?”

Not a year of noise — but a year where God actually completes what He started.

The Bible gives us this assurance:

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” — Philippians 1:6

Fulfillment is not about getting everything at once.

It is about God finishing His work in His time.

Many of us have prayed, waited, and remained faithful through seasons that felt empty.

But delay does not mean denial.

God often allows waiting so our character can carry the blessing.

“The vision is for an appointed time… though it tarries, wait for it.” — Habakkuk 2:3

Fulfillment comes when purpose meets obedience.

In 2026, fulfillment may look like:

Healing instead of applause

Direction instead of speed

Peace instead of pressure

Jesus said:

“My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.” — John 4:34

That is true fulfillment — doing God’s will and finishing strong.

This year, don’t rush God.

Walk with Him.

Trust Him.

Stay obedient.

Fulfillment follows faithfulness.
